If you are experiencing difficulties installing one of our Macintosh products into Acrobat® 7 Standard or Professional, please follow the instructions below to complete a manual installation of the software. If you continue to experience any problems, please post a message on the ARTS PDF forum or contact our support team.
- What ARTS PDF product are you having trouble with?
- Is the software the full (purchased) version, or is it a demo version?
- Did you purchase maintence when you bought the product?
- Did you receive an error message? If so, please include what it said.
- Describe step-by-step how the problem came about.
- Download the product installation package (.sit) by clicking the appropriate link below.
- Extract the files from the downloaded .sit archive.
- Follow the step by step instructions contained within the 'ReadMe' file to complete the installation. This 'ReadMe' file will be accessible once you have extracted the (.sit) package. All required plug-in, help and registration files are containted within the downloadable package.
- To access the software, open Adobe® Acrobat®. Your ARTS PDF product should now be successfully installed in 'DEMO' mode and accessible via the Plug-ins menu (Plug-ins > ARTS PDF Product) or from the installed tool buttons/toolbars. If you have purchased a valid serial number, proceed to step 5.
- To activate the full version of the software, select Acrobat® > About Third party plug-ins > Name of the ARTS PDF Product > Register Tab > Click on 'Register' and enter your name, company name and serial number. After doing so, complete the online registration form. The software should then be successfully installed and registered on your computer.
