The Acclaim Licensing Program provides attractive volume discounts, minimal paperwork, and a low initial purchase of only 11 licenses. Your organization will realize significant savings over traditional purchases of multiple copies of 'shrink-wrap' packages through the ALP program. Keep in mind that the larger the initial commitment, the better the discount!

With the ARTS PDF Acclaim Licensing Program, you simply purchase one copy of ARTS PDF software and we supply a volume license agreement (VLA) authorizing you to distribute the software to the number of users for which you have purchased licensing. It's that simple. And unlike many other software licenses that have a limited term, with ARTS PDF once you've purchased your license, it's yours for life!

Overview

ARTS PDF's Acclaim License Program (ALP) is based on a volume license agreement. The agreement includes an End-User License Agreement (EULA) and a customized Addendum. The Addendum specifies the legal entity (company) receiving the license, which product is being licensed, and on how many computers the software can be installed.

The licensed customer gets one copy of the product for installation purposes. The product may be delivered electronically or on physical media, as requested at time of order. ARTS PDF products ordered through the Acclaim Licensing Program are licensed to a specific company or corporation that is one legal entity with one tax ID number.

If you're already an ARTS PDF software user you may purchase a volume license agreement for additional computers provided that the number of additional licenses meets the required minimum. The volume license agreement is your authorization to install your new or existing software on as many computers as stipulated by your license agreement.

It's that simple!

Volume License Agreements are sold on a per PC basis - i.e. the software must be licensed for each separate computer or workstation on which the software is installed. Note: A single license for the Software may not be shared or used concurrently on different computers.
ARTS PDF Acclaim Licensing is available only in the US and Canada.

Which ARTS PDF products are eligible for the ALP program?

All products currently available from ARTS PDF, except those classified as Server/Enterprise products, are eligible.

How do ALP fees work?

Your site is categorized according to the number of licenses ordered. You can combine Macintosh and Windows within a single order.

You may obtain additional licenses at the same license fee level for your initial order for two years. Even if you order a single copy, you get it at your current VLA price level.

Any single order larger than the initial order will set a new license fee tier for two years. Your largest single order defines your pricing level. For example, if your initial order was 11 copies of ARTS PDF Aerialist, then you are in Level A for all subsequent orders. If you later place a single order for 25 copies your price level goes to Level B from that point forward.

Additional licenses may be purchased at anytime - provided each additional order meets the minimum user license order requirements of your VLA. Also, when additional license are ordered as soon as you reach the next discount level your discount increases for each product that meets or exceeds that level.

Upgrade Plan

Upgrade Plan is an optional addition to the Acclaim License Program. With Upgrade Plan you are assured of access to all ARTS PDF upgrades for your covered products - all at a single cost per licensed product. Upgrade Plan must be renewed annually at the then current price less your ALP discount. During the first six months of your ALP agreement, you may also order Upgrade Plan for previously acquired, current-version ARTS PDF software licenses (as long as ARTS PDF has not announced a new version), bringing all your installations up to date.
