Advanced converting, merging and splitting.ARTS PDF Aerialist X takes Acrobat to the next level with its advanced tools for splitting, merging, stamping, bookmarks, hyperlinks and process automation. The content assembly functionality (formerly ARTS PDF Split & Merge) in ARTS PDF Aerialist X and ARTS PDF Aerialist Lite allows you to split and merge batches of PDF files. The split functionality lets you split one or more PDF files based on page groups, page ranges, bookmarks and page marks. Note: Labels are used below to show the differences between ARTS PDF Aerialist Lite and ARTS PDF Aerialist X. Aerialist only indicates the feature is only available in ARTS PDF Aerialist X. Aerialist enhanced indicates that ARTS PDF Aerialist X contains additional subfeatures to those within ARTS PDF Aerialist Lite.
Split by n pagesSplit PDF files into a set of PDFs with each containing a specific number of pages. For example, choosing to split a 30 page PDF into five page PDFs will produce six PDFs. Split by page marksUse the page marks toolbar buttons to visually highlight sections of a PDF to split. Use them to name the files to be split and to add document info to them, including title, subject, author and keywords. Split by bookmarks
Use the bookmark hierarchy and bookmark levels to determine how to split your PDF files. This can be particularly useful when bookmarks are based on the sections and structure of your PDFs. When splitting, ARTS PDF Aerialist X uses the bookmark text to form the file names of the resulting PDFs.
